HUGZ4ORPHANS is an International effort to send crocheted/knitted afghans or quilts & handmade baby/toddler clothes to children suffering from the effects of Natural and Man-Made Disasters, Poverty and Deprivation

For 30 years I’ve been known for giving home made afghans with matching sweater outfits to babies born to my friends and family. It’s a way of giving them HUGZ no matter how far away they may be.

With the focus over the past couple years on increased community service due to many disasters around the globe, I wanted to do something on an international level to help. I’d like to send HUGZ to as many orphans as possible.

Our hope is to send our gifts to children worldwide by contacting many organizations that support orphans. These poor children have so little but by giving them something made by hand it’s a way of sending HUGZ to those who need it so very much.

If you would like to send something you have made on behalf of HUGZ4ORPHANS to be distributed around the world, it would be a wonderful way for us all to reach out to many needy children in our international community.
The wonderful thing about this distribution center is these gifts go to all countries, nationalities and religions to reach all orphans everywhere.
